Geelong is a great little spot to stop off to enjoy the foreshore, the CBD or the strip shopping centres such as Pakington Street. Just a short distance to the west of town is The Hill Bike Park which brings mountain biking to the city. The park is suitable for beginners but intermediate level riders are also catered to as a training area for jumps, ramps, pump track, etc.

The ride can be combined with a ride out to the bike park along the bike trails along the Barwon River.
